- 1 watermelon
- 2 1/2 cups gin
- ½ cup fresh lime juice
- ½ cup Curacao
Garnish: ice frozen with lime wedges inside
Cut a lid off the watermelon ¼ from the top, them shave a little off the bottom so that the watermelon sits up and doesn’t roll over, yet will still hold water. Scoop out the fruit and discard the seeds. Puree in a food processor and strain through a sieve. Mix with the gin, Curacao and lime juice and add a little sugar or more lime juice to taste. Serve in the hollowed out melon with plenty of large chunks of ice.
