Bar of the Month - The Saint, Edinburgh
The Saint is the latest venture from Jason Scott and Mike Aikman of Bramble fame. It's a great space with elegant décor that mixes the building's original Georgian architecture with lovely design touches such as sheepskin-covered whisky barrels Whilst it's not a cocktail bar, and we usually only include cocktails bars in our Gintime Best Bars, we had to make an exception for this delightful gastro-pub in Edinburgh's trendy Stockbridge. Food is big at The Saint with a delicious menu created by head chef, Ryan Turner, majoring on locally produced British dishes. A fantastic wine selection with loads of really special wines by the glass, the bar also has a large selection of unusual beers from across the globe, along with wide range of fine whiskies. And you can be sure of a really well made Gin and Tonic!
