The Cucumber Mobile Takes to the Open Road

This week the Hendrick’s Gin Palace in sunny Scotland opens its doors to a group of special guests from Italy. SAVA (the owners of Fiat and Ferrari) have chosen the Gin Palace for the launch of the first ever SAVA CLASSIC CAR RALLY that starts at nearby Turnberry and finishes at the very splendid Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire.

The Cucumber Mobile, a 1961 Rover P4 which has been restored and cucumbered by Cheeky Tiki and Dashing Tweed, will take part in this classic car rally alongside other wonderful cars such as a Rolls Royce once owned by Grace Kelly, Oldsmobiles and even a 1960’s Aston Martin DB. Naturally on arrival at Gleneagles at the end of the Rally participants can be confident of being treated to a delicious Hendrick’s and Tonic out of the bar situated in the boot of the Cucumber Mobile.
