Created by cocktail catering company 10 Dollar Shake to celebrate the wedding of the year, the regal tipple was launched at last month’s Scottish Wedding show and proved to be a huge hit with visitors. The Royal 29 is a Scottish/English twist on a French 75 cocktail.
- 25ml Caorunn
- 15ml fresh lemon juice
- 30ml pressed apple juice
- 12.5ml ginger syrup
- top up with Nyetimber sparkling wine (Waitrose online)
Method: shake all ingredients (except sparkling wine), fine strain into a tall chilled flute (or hi-ball with ice). Garnish with a red apple fan.
