The Bluebird is a fabulously grown up drinking spot in a great location on the King’s Road in Chelsea. The best thing about this Conran outpost with its restaurant, café and deli, is the massive selection of gin with all the Gintime gins plus some harder to find ones like Martin Miller’s Westbourne Strength and Plymouth Navy Strength plus loads of other great gins. These guys clearly love gin as each one comes with a vermouth recommendation for the most beautifully crafted martinis you’ll ever taste. Great Negronis too and a fantastic cocktail list that includes fruity delights like the Chelsea Flower, Damson in Distress, Hendricks Sedan, Pomegranate Julep and Strawberry & Rhubarb Fool. The Bluebird has lots of room so it’s never too hard to find a table. But best of all is the great, friendly, unobtrusive service.
