- 2 parts Beefeater Gin
- 1 teaspoon Dubonnet
- 2 blackberries
- 1 small string redcurrants or
- pomegranate seeds (or other fruit)
- 1 piece orange peel
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
Fill a wide, short whisky tumbler ¾ of the way with hot water. Place all ingredients, including the fruit, into a large brandy glass. Rest the bowl of the brandy glass on the rim of the tumbler so that the contents are warmed by the hot water.
Gently turn the snifter to warm the ingredients evenly. Use a match to ignite ingredients and gently turn. Do this for no longer than 30 seconds. Cover neck of the brandy glass with a napkin to extinguish flames. Pour contents into a second brandy glass before drinking (as the glass will have become extremely hot).
Drink whilst still warm and don’t forget to eat the fruit!
